‘TRACKS’ in Hongkong

嘮嘮叨叨說了這麼多，無非要為最近看過的電影作品「城車票」作個引子。這電影包含五個關於紐約、香港、京都等城市的地下鐵道的故事，分別由六個年輕的導演執導，屬於實驗性較強的作品。自然和平常看慣的荷里活製作有分別，細節技巧上亦多少有點瑕疵。但不要緊，只要有誠意，我一樣看得津津有味。

五個故事，除了其中一個我實在看不明白之外，其餘四個都以地鐵作為一種都市感情的隱喻。有趣的是，這四個隱喻不盡相同，拼放在一起竟有化學作用，彷彿互相指涉、彼此關連，連貫成一幅都市生活的拼貼畫。

例如，「上城下城」說的是人海中的偶遇，「Tracks」談的卻是分離的不可避免；「sunshine」中的地下鐵道是忙碌生活的喻體，整天只有工作的都市人連看一眼陽光都成了難得的奢侈品；而「Akashic Record」揭示的卻是繁華世界背後的黑暗，活在地下的人們都有難以啟齒的傷痕。

因地鐵而相識的「上城下城」中的一對男女，會否就是「Tracks」中面對死別的主角？而在「sunshine」故事裡面，因為工作而疏忽家庭、愛情的人們，其內心世界會否就是「Akashic Record」所描述的那樣？這當然是電影以外的問題，卻值得同樣以地下鐵為生活主軸的我們去深思。

為了公平也替餘下的那套「飛鴿。雙輪。劍」說幾句吧：還未開場映片的導演已上台說：「我是最窮的一個，我的電影是在香港拍的。還有，這片是動畫來的。哈，哈。」

縱然我對「動畫」的理解與他的不同，事後回想，我倒覺得他的那句「哈哈」，其實已是，一個暗示得太多的隱喻。

‘HELLo?’ in competition in 48th BILBAO FILM FESTIVAL

** If you are planning to lend one clip for promotional purposes to TV channels and information for our website and according to FIAPF standards, please send us your written authorization to take 1′ extract out of your forwarded preview copy.

The 48th Edition of the International Festival of Documentary and Short Film of Bilbao will be held from November 27th till December 2nd 2006.
