William- came up to me and told me he ‘loved my film’ and wanted to find out what my influences were. He defended my film and fought for it.
Calmin- ‘one of the surprises yesterday’…’the actress was very good… the colours…’ ‘I liked it’
Anne-’…one person thought it was WKW and didn’t like it but William really loved it. He is your big fan.’
New Actors Workshop
August 28, 2006
My workshops just finished last Friday. And I am really happy to have had the opportunity. The faculty was great and so are my classmates. It opened up a lot of possibilities to my acting- and I am sure my directing will be greatly affected by this course. Hope I remember as much as what I do now in the coming months, years. New York City is really an exciting city.

” Yesterday John and I went to the Mission District in San Francisco to the Victoria Theatre for the San Francisco International Short Film Festival (SF Shorts). We saw Program 2 with the following films:
La Noche Boca Arriba (The Night Face Up), Ruben Marquerie, Spain
Madame Marina, Katrina Elias, USA
Wei? (Hello?), Gavin Lim, Singapore
Vacationland, Lance Edmands, USA
Don’t Fuck With Love, Rachel McIntosh, Jim Starace, USA
Muriel, Kim Romano, USA
My two favorites were Muriel and Wei?. Muriel was tragic and hilarious all at once, while Wei? was very innovative and intriguing. “
